David Vaux AM

Committee Member

David was a Board member of The LBW Trust for 6 years, before becoming Chairman for a further 10 years.  He then stepped down from the Trust in early 2025, however he remains a member of the Women for Change Committee – which he co-founded in 2016 with Eleanor Hall, Lisa McIntyre & Kristin Stubbins. 

 

David’s family Foundation has been, and continue to be, a long term supporter of The LBW Trust and Women for Change.  In 2020 David was honoured with an AM for services to business and the community through charitable initiatives.

 

David has focused over the last 25 years on building health care businesses.  He is the Chairman and co-owner of Arcadia Health Care (a sub-acute hospital in Warriewood, focusing on rehabilitation, geriatric medical services and mental health).  He is also the Chairman of Innowell (a healthtech SaaS company which provides cutting edge cloud-based software solutions for managing mental health in public and private settings) and a Director of Studiosity (an online university education support service).  He co-founded I-Med (radiology), GenesisCare (radiation oncology) and Amity (now BUPA Aged Care).

 

Outside of the corporate world, David is an active investor in agribusinesses and loves to ski and play tennis.
